The Midland Karting Race League championship returns for 2018!

Event Dates and Formats
All rounds start at 10:00. Drivers must be on-site for a mandatory briefing at 09:45 on the morning of each
Round 1 – Sunday 20th May, 2018 – book and pay by 18:00 on Friday 11 May 2018
Round 2 – Sunday 3rd June, 2018
Round 3 – Sunday 24th June, 2018
Round 4 – Sunday 8th July, 2018
Round 5 – Sunday 22nd July, 2018
Round 6 – Sunday 5th August, 2018
Round 7 – Sunday 19th August, 2018
Round 8 – Sunday 9th September, 2018
Round 9 – Sunday 30th September, 2018
Round 10 – Sunday 14th October, 2018
The Championship will take place over a 10-race format, with the two lowest points rounds “dropped”. Drivers need not attend all rounds to participate in the Championship – though the more rounds attended, the better your chances of being crowned Champion!
Determination of points will be decided and announced in due course.
Karts and Circuit
The Race League Championship will make use of our new Sodi GT4 kart fleet, on our International Circuit.
Cost of entry is just £27.50 per driver per round. This must be made in advance. Due to the volume of interest in the event, drivers must book and pay their entry fee in advance of race day; no on-the-day entries will be accepted.
Drivers may pay for all 10 rounds in advance for the discounted price of £247.50

The Race Director’s decision is final in all judgements.
Minimum age for drivers is 14-years. Minimum height is 1.3m.
Cost of participation is £27.50 per driver per round. Discounted rate is applicable to drivers paying a one-off fee for all 10 rounds in advance.
All races will start at 10:00. We will announce the event format for each round in advance.
Each round will consist of one race subject to numbers. Race Director reserves the right to amend the race format on-the-day where driver numbers or other factors demand.
All drivers must take part in the race briefing at 09:45 on the morning of each round in which they wish to participate. Part of this briefing will be a safety briefing and signing of a race disclaimer.
Drivers missing all or part of the pre-race briefing will not be allowed to race.
Where a round is forfeited due to non-attendance or disqualification, no refund shall be given and the driver will score zero (0) points.
Results will be published on the website within 48-hours of event completion. Discrepancies or queries regards the results should be raised within 96-hours of event completion in order to investigate and amend.
Midland Karting operates a zero tolerance policy on any abuse – whether verbal, physical or otherwise – directed towards members of management, race directors, race marshals, site staff or competitors, spectators or other members of the public. Those guilty of abusive behaviour will be disqualified from the session with no refund offered and may face sanctions which may or may not include a full site ban.
