Safety and Rules
The sport of Karting has rules for the safety and fairness of the competitors, organisers and marshals. All motorsport venues have rules, and the following is a guide to the rules we have on our tracks.
Driving
There are rules for driving karts to keep everyone safe and the racing fair but competitive.
- Keep away from the engine and exhaust at all times.
- Use one pedal at a time. Keep your foot off the brake pedal when accelerating and vice-versa.
- Keep both hands on the steering wheel at all times to keep in control of the kart at all times.
- Remain in your kart at all times unless instructed by a marshal to do otherwise.
- You must obey flags and marshals' instructions at all times.
- Karting is a non-contact sport. Repeated or deliberate bumping/pushing is considered dangerous driving.
- Blocking or weaving on the track is also considered dangerous.
- Walking pace is the only acceptable speed when driving in the Pit Lane.
Flags
The standard international motorsport flags are used at our track.

There is a hazard up ahead. Slow down and strictly no overtaking or racing allowed.
Red Flag
