Access to Function Room

The new Karndean floor is now being laid. This means that the Function room is off limits until the work is complete.  The room will not be available until the evening of Friday 18th April. A reduced Bar service will be available from the kitchen - with limited seating in the Sun Lounge.  

In the case of emergency the relevant fire exits should still be used.

Club Access & Safety Issue

Access road is now clear. Please be aware the Car Park is very muddy - as is the Apron from the Boathouse to the River.

A pleasure cruiser has capsized downstream of the Abbey Road Bridge. Only a small part of it remains above water. Please be aware. There may be other hazards left by the flood. Rowers should proceed with caution.

Evesham girls are National Champions

Evesham Rowing Club is celebrating after its womens’ junior 16 coxless quad won one of the most prestigious events in the rowing calendar. The National Junior Scullers Head of the River held at Henley-on-Thames, attracts hundreds of crews from all over the country, including the top rowing schools such as Lady Eleanor Holles and Dame Alice Harpur. Northampton head of the Nene

Several rowing crews saw success at Northampton’s Head of the Nene (26th January). While the sun shone, conditions on the water were challenging with a strong head wind that proved tricky for steering over the 1,800 metre course. (read more…)
